Nice thread. I used to have to commute 2hrs+ each way for work so it was motivating to go to the gym after work as it would mean I would miss rush hour traffic and my commute home would halve, so I would get home almost the same time as if I didn't go to the gym but I would have got a work out done ...

That is a 2:03.2/500m pace and seems at least in the ballpark of a reasonable estimate.
