Well done everyone.... Personally I'm out now :-( My right knee has started causing some small problems: Normally I wouldn't just stop on this but slow down a bit, but with a skiing holiday in December I need my knees to be totally fit .... So I'm signing off now. I managed to do 66,882 and may stil...

GOSH! :-) It's great to see so many familiar names here. It's been a long time since I've been this active on the board/rower... I'm glad to hear that everyone does so well. I am also hanging in there with appx. 66k m this morning. I will still try for the 200k but am not sure if I can make it or no...

Exc ellent everyone :-) I am also on board. I am not sure I can make it to 200,000 because of travel + a busy schedule. However so far I've done 36,000 which I am very happy about -> so I am nicely ahead at the moment. I'm going skiing in December so if I start feeling fatigued at some point I'll ha...

Thanks for the tips. I may try saliva :-) I've already done everything else and always handwash the device/rim.

I also have a problem with the electronic contact on my Polar belt. It's about 1,5-2 years old but I have had the problem for a long time - and I never used the washing machine. I think sweat may cause the corrosion?

My motorbike was put aside in October :-( I definitely live in the wrong country... but skiing is com...

I wish I could do 200,000 but I am too busy at work at the moment + will do some skiing which will take some days out for me. I have decided that if I can do 100,000 then that is OK too. I will try and start out towards the 200,000 mark, but realise that it will be so much work for me to reach that ...

Good luck and welcome :-) I am also rowing for weightloss and control + it's a great way to stay fit. Usually I row 5-6000 meter. Tonight I will try and push it to 10,000 or 60 minutes.... I'd like to get into doing some longer workouts 2 times a week... :-)

Stick with it :-)

Excellent for you Jamie. That kind of progress is very tangible! I would love to do that for myself too. Excellent time on the 2K!!!!

As you know I have been considering the program, but after 2 mails I have still not heard from Xeno...

George, Thanks. You are right. I am doing a lot of rowing as well :-) However I also do weights 2 times a week and I already think I can sense a difference in that I have more strength than if I only did rowing. I think maybe it is because I have a weak back and my back has really benefitted from we...

Hi Thanks for your help. I don't mean to achieve a higher Max heart rate, but just to be able to define my training bands. My guess is that my pulse is probably around 50 at the min and the max I have seen during interval training is around 192... but that's all very uncertain. I've learnt that I wi...
