Prior to that time i was training 5/6 times a week, mostly rowing, sculling, erging and circuit training. I'm quite well built naturally, my Dad was about 6'2 and 185lbs without ever lifting any weights!

I'm 6'3-6'4 and usually just under 200lbs, been rowing nearly a year now but only a few months seriously. That time is ok but should be 4-5 secs quicker by now, hoping to get 6:10 by November, starting to lift weights in three weeks so hopefully should see a big strength increase. :twisted:

Had something similar happen me in a double scull a few months back, had clear water on 2nd place and way up on rest of field then doubles partner caught a horrendous crab and snapped the oarlock :oops:
