Re: Polar A370 and PM5 Connection

with the h10: I have been able to connect to the PM5 OR the vantage m but not both as it is supposed to. Ah interesting, I'm thinking of getting a Vantage M to use as a HR monitor. I use the ergdata app from the PM5 to my phone, are you able to use the ergdata app bluetoothed to the pm5 and also th...

Re: Model C - chain catching anti-throw device (PN 1002)

the nickel chain will work fine with the old sprocket, however it is recommended that both sprocket and the chain be replaced at the same time so that they break in and wear together. https://www.concept2.com/service/indoor-rowers/model-d/troubleshooting/chain-problems the newer sprocket is slightly...

with the h10: I have been able to connect to the PM5 OR the vantage m but not both as it is supposed to. To be able to connect the H10 to two devices you'll need to activate the "2 receiving BLE devices" functions - this can be done in the Polar Beats app. https://support.polar.com/us-en/support/ca...

Model C PM2+ ON/OFF SW Inoperable

Model C Erg w/ PM2+ ON?OFF Switch will not turn on the PM

The only way that the PM will power up is if you pull the handle.

Any advice for troubleshooting the ON/OFF switch?

Re: Model D/PM5/Ergdata/iOS/Garmin/Memorystick

I can’t find the reference but my understanding is that for the PM5 concept2 says that you can only use: ergdata -OR- usb stick ErgData is supposed to remember your heart rate monitor, the app asks you if you’d like to remember the heart rate monitor the first time it connects. although rather incon...

do you have the A370 in heart rate sensor broadcasting mode when you’re attempting to pair it with the PM5? https://support.polar.com/e_manuals/A370/Polar_A370_user_manual_English/Content/Using_A370_as_HR_sensor_accessory.htm I have a polar vantage m & polar h10 heart rate sensor (Bluetooth - suppos...

Re: Model C Speed Sensor Pickup Problem

I have not seen any issues with the machine with the updated tachometer pickup speed sensor. I have no idea the root cause of problem ... after logical troubleshooting was exhausted just replaced parts until it worked. I am working on refurbishing a couple of model Cs this weekend, if I have time I’...

Re: Model C Front Foot / Leg

I have seen these front legs on model c rowers before, so I think it is just an evolution of design where they found that the flared front legs weren’t providing enough value to warrant the cost of stamping out a part of that shape. regarding schematics not all versions are kept posted online; I ran...

Re: Bike erg to Rower/assault bike

Just speaking in generalities the BikeErg is roughly 2x distance to time of the Rower and SkiErg; the BikeErg distances/splits are in distances of 1000m vs. 500m on the Rower and SkiErg I do find that it is pretty easy to go faster and harder on the BikeErg than 2x the pace on the Rower and SkiErg. ...

Re: Knocking, slipping during hard pulls Model C

Re: Knocking, slipping during hard pulls Model C

if you take a video of it and send it to concept2 support they are most helpful.

rowing@concept2.com

i had a similar problem with a drive train upgrade for a Model C, they had me replace parts that they sent me.
