Defective Log Cards?

I just recently placed an order for a couple new log cards the brand new model D I ordered and received just last week. The card that came with the rower works great however, the two new ones are apparently defective. When I put either of the new ones into the card reader the monitor gets blue lines on it and then starts up as if the monitor was reset. Upon checking the monitor's memory, sure enough everything has been wiped out. Upon removing the card, the same thing happens. Again, when I use the card that came with the rower it works fine, no reset, says hello and goodbye properly. I have tried formatting both of the new cards and it still acts the same way.

It would seem I was sent a couple of defective cards. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Just an update for those interested. Apparently this is a design issue with some of the latest cards and certain monitors. C2 is aware and sent me some replacement cards.
